From small works to major builds we can provide a tailor-made service to enable you to realise project.

We will make an initial visit to your property to see what you have in mind and discuss your requirements.  We will tell you what may or may not be permitted in your area based upon our knowledge and experience of the locale.  We can advise on a relevant architect sympathetic to your particular requirements and liaise with him/her setting out what you have told us you would like.  We will meet with the architect at your property to explain exactly what you want, going over anything that needs clarification.  Following this we can then instruct the architect, on your behalf, to prepare the required detailed drawings, ensuring the necessary planning application forms are prepared and lodged with your Mairie, along with a full set of the architects drawings.  We will follow this process through and once planning permission has been granted we will set the wheels in place for obtaining the various quotes for the different trades that will be required to bring your build to fruition. 

It is not usual in France to have one building company to do all the different works required on a large build as each trade is specific and qualified and insured for his own particular metier.  It may be possible to get a mason who also does roofing but an electrician will only do electrical work and a plumber only plumbing.  There are many other trades that may be called upon and it is our job to ensure the right tradesperson is called in at the right time so that the project flows seamlessly with work carried out in the correct order.  We have a good team of artisans we use regularly for smaller works as well as and a number of larger enterprises we call on for larger projects.

Once you have accepted the various quotes for the different works required we will liaise with the artisans, plan and set up your build.  We will liaise closely throughout the build with both artisans and yourself, holding regular site meetings to ensure all is going according to plan.  We will keep you informed throughout the build, discussing any amendments, problems etc immediately so that nothing goes awry and rectifications can be made in a timely and cost-effective manner, vitally important if you live away from France. We will process regular stage-payments where authorised for larger works, deposits and one-off payments where appropriate for smaller works, following your project through to completion.
