Regular Security checks

 

As an empty property soon shows signs of being unoccupied and then becomes a target to unwanted visitors, site checking is a major part of our service. We will visit at any frequency required and carry out both an internal and external check. We will check that all doors, windows and shutters are secure. We check for any signs of leaks or water ingress, wildlife entry or roof damage. We check that heating and electrics are in working order, fuel tank is at an appropriate level and septic tank is dosed with e.g Eparcyl regularly. We do a tour of the grounds and check all outbuildings, swimming pool etc. We remove all mail from view. (See our MAIL FORWARDING SERVICE page). In the event of a problem we will inform you immediately and, should you wish, we will arrange for a local artisan to rectify the problem.

In times of extreme weather conditions (snow, storms, floods) we will liaise with you as it may be that you would wish to have an interim check on your property in case of any impending insurance claim that may need to be lodged in a timely manner.
